Wedding Shoes

Hello Everyone,

I am happy to inform you that the wedding shoes have been purchased, for a few weeks now but  we have been so caught up in wedding planning and I also wanted to save the post for WEDTOBER, if you hadn't of guessed from the picture above they were purchased from Jimmy Choo.

As we all know I am terrible at making a decision and I knew deep down it was never going to be an easy process. Me, my mum and the bridesmaids went and spent the day in London and saw too many shoes (I know there is no such thing) but my brain was frazzled. We even went to Shoe Heaven in Harrods and I was still unsuccessful. I tried on shoes from Manolo Blanik, Dior, Christian Loubatain Ted Baker, Carvela and still nothing tickled my fancy. I do have to admit I did have minor breakdown in the middle of John Lewis – I knew in that moment I could not settle for a pair of shoes – especially on my wedding day. So in that moment I knew my shoes had to be designer, I know its not for everyone and I am certainely not judging anyone else about where they get their shoes from (my spare pair for photos are from primark) as I don’t want to ruin my wedding shoes if the weather is not playing ball with me, I just knew that if I didn’t get a designer pair I would be settling and I didn’t want that to happen on this occasion.

So my and my lovely ladies ended up on New Bond Street around 6.45pm losing hope to be honest and in desperate need of food, when we stumbled across Jimmy Choo, now if you are on the look out for any shoe, not just wedding shoes then you should visit Jimmy Choo, I only looked on two floors and I am pretty sure they have many more. The have a whole bridal floor if this is what you are on the hunt for.

I tried on about four or five pairs of shoes which I will include below, obviously I will not be including the final pick as I would like to include these in a post wedding blog where I show you a breakdown of everything. What I will say I thought that I would go for a very fancy glitzy pair but I have chosen the most simple, classic and elegant pair of shoes I have owned in my life but I just love them and they take my breath away every time I open the box.

Here are a few pairs that I tried on:

Romy 85 With Tiara-£675

Lang-£525

Abel-£675

Romy 85-£495

Joan 85-£675

So if you are on the hunt for your wedding shoes then I can definitely say you cannot go wrong if you choose to SAY I DO IN CHOO.
